Christmas is the celebration of the Birth of Jesus Christ on earth. This Baby Jesus that God sent to be born in a manger grew into a man and ministered on earth. He was then crucified on the cross to provide a sacrifice for forgiveness of our sins. He rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to Heaven where he is now on the right hand of God, the Father, interceding for those who believe in Him. One day Christians will be reunited with Him in Heaven. As we celebrate Christmas, the greatest of all “presents” is the “presence” of God in our lives. This is the gift that goes on and on. The birth of Jesus can be read in Luke 2: 1-20.
Luke 2:11 – Today in the town of David, a Savior has been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
WE HOPE ALL OF YOU WILL HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!
