In this album, we are using songs to tell the story of Easter. As we begin, we want to thank all of you who view our website. We also want to give special thanks to Lyndia Glover for her help in making this site possible. She has played piano for us for 48 years. She has a God-given talent and uses it for the glory of God.
Please listen to the messages of the following songs. Each one tells the Easter story and points to the wonderful realization that God sent His Son, Jesus, to live on earth for 33 years as He ministered, performed miracles, preached, and taught His followers how to carry on His work. Even as a child, Jesus was special. At the age of 12, He was found sitting in the temple talking with the teachers and asking them questions that amazed them.
God’s purpose in sending Jesus to earth was for Him to be the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Jesus was crucified on the cross, buried, and rose again on the 3rd day, defeating death and giving Christians the assurance of eternal life in Heaven. After 40 days on earth following His resurrection, Jesus ascended back to Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God, interceding for Christians.
